About and contact

Food Pradesh lists food industry exhibitions held in India, and keeps a directory of the trade press, associations, regulators and government schemes that food businesses need. Both are free to use.

Who this is for

Anyone running or supplying a food business in India: manufacturers, processors, packers, machinery and ingredient suppliers, exporters, bakers, dairy units and traders. You do not need an account, and there is nothing to pay.

Where the exhibition information comes from

Each exhibition is entered by hand from the organiser’s own website wherever one exists. When an organiser has not published the next edition, we look at government and trade press sources instead, and we record which source we used and the date we checked it.

We do not copy listings from other directory sites without checking them, and we do not guess dates.

What we do when we are not sure

  • When a date is confirmed by the organiser, we show it plainly.
  • When two sources disagree, we show both dates rather than quietly picking one.
  • When the next edition has not been announced, we say so. We do not show last year’s dates as though they were this year’s.
  • When an event is cancelled or postponed, the listing says that instead of disappearing.

Open any exhibition to see its source, its verification status and the date it was last checked.

The Media and Resource Directory

The directory lists trade magazines, industry associations, regulators such as FSSAI, and government scheme portals such as PMFME. Every entry is labelled with how far its link has been checked:

  • Verified means we opened the link and the page matched what we say about it.
  • Partly verified means the organisation is real and confirmed, but that exact web address has not been opened by us.
  • Unverified means the publication or body is real, but no working official website could be found. These entries are not linked, because sending you to an address we could not open would be worse than saying nothing.

Where an entry has no official site, we list the best third-party records we could find and mark them clearly as leads, not official sources.

What we do not do

We do not sell listings, and no organiser pays to appear here or to rank higher. We are not connected to any exhibition organiser, and we do not take a commission on tickets or stands.

Tell us when we are wrong

If a date has changed, a link is dead, or something is missing, please tell us. Corrections are welcome and we check them.

The date the information was last checked is shown at the bottom of every page.

The person who runs Food Pradesh

With a background in Food Technology and hands-on experience as a PMFME District Resource Person (DRP), my work focuses on supporting food entrepreneurs and small food-processing businesses. I work across food processing, project planning, DPR preparation, financial analysis, government schemes, and enterprise development, helping entrepreneurs turn practical ideas into viable businesses.

My interest goes beyond documentation. I am interested in understanding how food businesses actually work, how they can improve, and how technology, planning, and innovation can create sustainable growth.

Food Pradesh भारत में होने वाली खाद्य उद्योग की प्रदर्शनियों की जानकारी देता है। साथ ही यहाँ ट्रेड पत्रिकाएँ, उद्योग संगठन, FSSAI जैसे नियामक और PMFME जैसी सरकारी योजनाओं की निर्देशिका भी है। इसका उपयोग मुफ़्त है।

हर प्रदर्शनी की जानकारी आयोजक की अपनी वेबसाइट से ली जाती है। अगर आगले आयोजन की घोषणा नहीं हुई है, तो हम यह साफ़ लिखते हैं – अनुमान से तारीख़ नहीं डालते। अगर दो स्रोतों में अलग-अलग तारीख़ें हों, तो दोनों दिखाते हैं।
